Our Gluten Free Products
Jerusalem Cake Design understands that today many people choose to have wheat-free diets for many different reasons. We bake many custom ordered GF cakes, cupcakes and treats however they are NOT baked in exclusively GF kitchen. They are baked in our regular kitchen with our regular tools and appliances. We use a variety of specialty ingredients including almond flour, coconut flour and tapioca starch – however they are not all 100% guaranteed to be without cross-contamination. We do have repeat clients with coeliac disease who are gluten intolerant- but we encourage you call or email us to talk through your personal allergies or restrictions so we can do our best to accommodate. We understand that everyone has different levels of sensitivity and while we meet many clients’ requirements, we may or may not be right for you. Our GF products are made with top quality ingredients and many of products are naturally gluten-free (macarons, meringues and marshmallows).
Vegan products are prepared with no egg, dairy or animal bi-products. This means they are parve, but may contain wheat, soy or sugar. We have many vegan-friendly options, including cakes, cupcakes and cake pops that are completely egg-free, dairy-free and completely delicious. If you are interested in a vegan wedding cake, please contact us 3 months in advance of your event and we will book a tasting where you taste cake samples while we talk about the design of the cake of your vegan dreams! (We pride ourselves on even creating specialty sugar flowers using a vegan modelling paste, which is highly unusual in the world of sugar flower making.)
